The Houghtons and Brafield History Society
The Society was formed 30 years ago and holds monthly meetings to hear talks
on both local and wider topics but all with a historical context. It would also like to
record our local history by encouraging members to undertake research projects.

A local village long associated with motor racing, Gerald tells the story of the origins of the nearby airfield in WW1 through the Second World War, the first post war Grand Prix to the international track it is today.
